Ports

Ports in the Republic of Panama

Panama has a considerable number of ports that facilitate international trade and are, in turn, connected to the operations of the Panama Canal. We operate in the country's main public and private ports, thanks to our operating license granted by the Panama Maritime Authority.

Among them are:

  • Port of Balboa (Pacific):

Managed by Panama Ports Company, it is a deepwater port with the capacity to receive Post-Panamax vessels.

  • Cristóbal (Atlantic):

Managed by the same company, Panama Ports Company, it is the main port on the Atlantic coast and a key gateway to the Caribbean.

  • SSA MARINE MIT, formerly Port of Manzaillo (Atlantic):

Operated by SSA Marine, it is the port with the largest container throughput in the country.

  • PSA Panama International Terminal (Pacific):

This container terminal is part of the Pacific port complex. Colón Container Terminal (CCT) (Atlantic):

One of the main container terminals on the Caribbean coast.

Cristóbal (Atlantic):

Note: The distance between Panama City and the Atlantic ports is 70 to 80 kilometers, with a transit time of approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Port of Balboa (Pacific):

Note: The distance between Panama City and the Atlantic ports is 70 to 80 kilometers, with a transit time of approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and 25 minutes.

We also have the necessary resources to provide our services and assistance for vessel care during their waiting period for transit or berth in the Pacific and Atlantic anchorages.
